The National Academy of Science just recommended lowering the amount of fluoride in our water supply due to concerns about its safety, its effect on weakening bones, and causing dental fluorosis (mottled, discolored teeth).

Most of us don't drink enough water and some of us don't drink any water at all, even though our bodies are 70 to 80 % water. If you are not drinking one quart of water for every 50 pounds of body weight, you are dehydrated, and you are putting extreme stress on your body to try to maintain its healthy functioning. Remember, sodas and flavored water doesn't count. Drink some good, old fashioned, clean water. Make sure it's clean, that is, filtered water, preferably not tap water that is full of crud, including chlorine, fluoride, bacteria and cancer-causing chemicals. Bottled water is usually better than tap, but to be certain, use filtered water, which is cheaper overall.

Does anyone really know why they fluoridate our water? Fluoride is toxic, and is used as a pesticide to kill rats and mice. It can cause cancer, weak bones, and lowered IQ. There is no proof that fluoride prevents tooth decay. In fact, dental research has shown that it has no such effect.

The government plans to eventually fluoridate all water supplies. Already 2/3 of them are.

Recently in the news, some researchers made us aware of the link between cell phone use and low sperm counts. They also acknowledged that dropping sperm counts is old news. They know that sperm counts have steadily dropped over the past 30 years to just half of normal. At the same time, testicular cancer is now a leading cause of death in young men, while the rate of breast cancer is steadily rising.

The link here is the widespread contamination of our water supply with toxic chemicals, including DDT, PCBs, pesticides, herbicides, dioxins and other synthetic organic chemicals that water companies aren't required to test for.
